They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and for a change, they are absolutely right!
Though I must say this temporary sabbatical has caused me to become even more deranged. No, don’t get me wrong, its not that I didn’t enjoy my self at my grandparents’. After all, who wouldn’t enjoy yummilicious food, VIP treatment and loads of rib-tickling stories from a super-sweet, ever effervescent grandmum?
But I frantically missed my efficiently disorganized room. Staying in a clean, clutter-free room somehow makes me feel very forlorn and lonely (and claustrophobic too). A mismatched pair of shoes poking out from beneath the cupboard, an assortment of colourful clothes strewn all over the room (strategically placed of course) and books of all shapes and sizes peeping from every possible nook and corner is more like my idea of a ‘livable’ room (all you cleanliness-is-next-to-godliness-freaks stay away from me!)
Missed blogdom immensely too. Ignoring my occasional phases of writers’ block I’d say this was the longest I’ve survived without updating by blog since its inception in April this year. Believe me; it took every ounce of my pint-sized will power to stop my self from crashing headlong into the nearest café (Dad gift me a laptop …jaldi!)
But all said and done I’m finally home and totally ecstatic about it and shall soon make up for my absence by blogging and commenting like crazy.
Ps: I told Dad a few days ago that I‘ll post a pic of my new chappals to give company to my equally new blog header…she refused to believe me(!). So presenting my new ‘Korean’ chappals… e re

Pps: those who do not want to die a sudden painful death, kindly avoid all witticisms about the width and length of my feet!!
